Fallen

It’s understood that a large tree can provide a day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people.

This is Capo woods, a Scots Pine forest in rural Aberdeenshire. Just a few months ago it was a dense, lush forest.

However, in late 2021 and early 2022 storms Arwen and Corrie flattened most of this ancient woodland.

The trees, used to prevailing winds from the south are caught off guard by winds exceeding 90mph from the north.

It’s now estimated that in Scotland alone 8 million trees have fallen.

This video is number 15 in my personal challenge to produce a short video every week through 2022.

Follow #MadeOnAMobile52 to see more in the series. There is no theme other than all of them are shot or edited or both on a mobile phone or tablet. This film was shot with a drone of course but it was edited entirely on my iPad.

If you’d like to learn more and find out how you can learn to shoot, edit and share using mobile devices then, you’re in the right place! Check out the #MadeOnAMobile page… or contact me using the form.
