I lead a social media session yesterday on behalf of The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) where I work as a Communications and Engagement Designer.
Entitled What’s not to Like? the aim was to draw attention to what’s great about social media; for personal and professional use.

Some of the examples I use are specific to Social Services but there are others too – it’s up to you to think about how you can adapt these ideas to your area of work and life.
We also ran a surgery throughout the day. It’s really the only way to address individual needs and it’s what people are hoping for when they turn up for social media talks. Hopefully between the talk and the surgery we kept everyone happy.
